I have Catalina 10.15(Beta) & have tried to update to 10.15.1 with no luck. On system Preferences is shows I have 10.15 and it says your Mac is up to date. I have downloaded 10.15.1 from Apple support but when I open it to download to my Mac it says it is not supported on this Mac. My Mac is a cMP, 5,1 19A487m, mid 2010, 2x3.06 6 core, 32gb 1333 MHz. Anyone have any idea on how to solve this? I do have Catalina beta on a thumb drive and the patcher for it on a non supported Mac but that's it

The other thing is I no longer have Mojave 10.14 which I would rather have than Catalina. Is there any way I can download the full OS of Mojave. Is that possible & where do I go to get it. Do I need a prior OS like Capitan or similar or is it a stand a lone?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm not an expert but I thought I read somewhere that Catalina will not run on anything older than a 2015 iMac.
I know it wouldn't load on my Mid 2011 iMac.

Hate to say this but both of you are wrong. My Mac is a 2010 12 core. For some reason when I downloaded the Catalina OS it would not update to 10.15.1, it would stay at 10.15. So I just wiped my HDD 7 reloaded 10.15.1 without a problem. So that clears that up. Thanks guys for the reply, it is really appreciated.
