Catalina - 10.15.2 will not import photos from camera to Lightroom

Since updating to 10.15.2 on my desktop I cannot import photos from my camera to LR. LR recognizes the camera, but I get the message "No Photos Found" when I try to import. I tried two separate cameras and three different cards with the same result. I used a card reader to load the photos to my hard drive and they imported from there.

Looking on forums this seems to be a problem with the update rather than Lightroom. Anybody else able to confirm this?

Have a look in System Preferences > Security....Privacy Tab and the File and Folders bit - see if LightRoom is in there and a tick next to it for removable volumes.
