Has anyone recently just installed Catalina for the first time with 10.15.3?

Any problems? I was planning on installing Catalina once it got to 10.15.3 but still don't feel it's stable enough.

Thanks

Catalina has been fine for awhile. Don't listen to the forums, we have a lot of Catalina machines at work and no one has issues, these forums are nothing more than an echo chamber as of late where people here one little issue one person has and they blow it out of proportion.

I also installed .3 and now there are index tabs with numbers to the left of each drop-down menu such as the file menu, view menu etc. VERY annoying and they seem too bog the computer down after a while. I have a MacMINI 2018 with 32 GB and the i7 and it seems to slow the machine down. don't know what to do.

Well that's an option to dump Catalina for sure. But do you know why there are those numbered tabs appearing or what they are called? I can't find any way to turn them off. They don't show up under accessibility unless I'm just missing it.
Thanks
Jeff

How come there was no MR article announcing the release of 10.15.3?

I'm updating now. :)

Of course MR announced it. It is in the "News and Article Discussion" forum as usual.

Has anybody seen the "All your files and photos in iCloud" prompt after 10.15.3 install and reboot? If my users allow documents and folders and photos to sync, it screws up my file sync program horribly. I'm looking for a way to prevent it. MDM?

Yes, that can be disabled with a configuration profile.

Unless you need something Catalina provides, there's no reason to bother with it. Wait until .6, that'll be the last one.

macrumors would rather put endless amounts of info about apple TV+ content on its Front pages rather than announce about a mac update on the front page.
that's the truth.

10.5.3 does not seem to have solved the problem where WLAN connection gets dropped when resuming after a suspend.

I dont have any LAN issue mine was just my Bluetooth connection keep dropping while using Head Phones.
This has been happening to me on and off, not all the time. But it basically forgets the previous WiFi network it was connected to and hunts for a few seconds eventually settling on the tether-to-iPhone option. I have to manually go in and select the home WiFi network.
