Hi,

Ive recently tried to update from Catalina 10.15.4 to 10.15.5 and my Mac HD volume is now unmountable.
From another Mac I’m in the process of creating a Mac bootable external hard drive to install Catalina on it so as I can use this to boot up the faulty Mac and backup the data volume before repairing the HD volume.

Problem is I cannot find the a download version of Catalina 10.15 anywhere and the install process will not accept any update version i.e 10.15.1/2/3/4/5

I’ve tried the apple site but even they only go as low as 10.15.1

https://support.apple.com/downloads/macos

Can anyone point me to a link where one resides please?

Thank you for responding Taz,

However I've tried the app store and it simply downloads the latest version 10.15.5. And the install will not allow it to be installed on an external vanilla device without 10.15 on it.

I'm trying to install the same version as the faulty drive 10.15.4 thus I have to start from 10.15 then add 10.15.4 afterwards.
