Hiya, I've updated to Catalina on my "MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)" laptop and now black boxes have appeared on some of my photos. I've tried zooming in and to and the Photoshop sample dropper records it as black also... and ideas??

That is really weird I've never encountered that. Whats weird is in your photo above I see the hat still, but it's blue. It's really close to black but not quite there. Does anything happen if you change the file format?

Nope! Turned it into a jpeg and no joy... so weird. I still have the raw from this shoot, so I can return them.
