Catalina bluetooth issues - audio output doesn't work

Hello, I have looked for some threads which might be the same problems in the forum, but surprised it seemed no such problem. Meanwhile, in other forums, many people have the same issue with Catalina(10.15, 10.15.1) that the bluetooth audio devices don't work at all, even including my AirPods Pro and Power Beat Pro earphones. Anyone has the same problem? Apple should look into that!

10.15.1 here (on mb air 2017/18, Mac mini 2014), bluetooth audio out working perfectly

So lucky you, mine is Macbook Pro 2014 and upgraded to Catalina, I tried reset PRAM, deleted Bluetooth files and recreate, none of them worked.

shift-option click on the menubar Bluetooth icon, and you'll have some more options.

Yep. It's garbage. Having a ton of bluetooth problems every day and Apple just told me to "update all third party firmware" which I thought it was funny because I'm using an Apple mouse and keyboard. They gave me the generic "we will send the report to engineering and get back to you in 2 days" which is code for "feck off we don't know ****"
