Hello,
After I upgraded to Catalina my MacBook Pro 2015 'dock' application does not work as before.
I mean that before when I start notebook 'dock' was located at the bottom. Now it does not appear at all.
The only workaround that I found is:
1. go to finder
2. open 'applications' folder
3. double click on 'Mission Control' icon
4. it started to show me 2 desktops at the top of the screen ( I have 2 Monitors ) and then I see 'dock' app.
5. If I click somewhere outside of 'Mission Control' then 'dock' disappears again.
6. It looks like the mess either with upgrade or Desktops or etc and I can't locate my apps from dock anymore. Very inconvenient.
Any clue? Did Catalina broke it?
I don't believe it's coincident ...
Anyone could help?

Thanks

You can try restarting Dock via Terminal.

Open the Terminal app in Applications-->Utilities.

Type: killalll Dock

If this fixes the Dock, then shutdown and restart the Mac (not reboot) and see if it stays fixed.

If it's still broken after restarting, try resetting PRAM and SMC.

Hi gwan73,
thanks for your suggestions.
I don't know what happened but after a few reboot it started to work properly.
Hence I'm not sure it was brought by Catalina and I'm not sure why/how it disappeared.
Anyway ... it looks that I'm all set now.
Thanks anyway ..
