Catalina Installed Now Mac Mail bcc and cc No Longer Work

So with out knowing and asking I upgraded to Catalina this afternoon. I am having issues with cc or bcc on Mac Mail now. When I click on the + on bcc for example to pull up my contacts list to add emails to bcc I can no longer get this to work. This happened right after I installed Catalina. This puts a serious damper on my job and work in getting emails out to my customers.

Is there any work around or a fix for this. Please explain in simple terms as I am not a computer geek, far from it...HELP!!!

When you click on the name, does the email address appear underneath the name, i can only get mine working by clicking in the email address, it then gets added, clicking the name does nothing.

Yes the address appears but does not go over into the cc or bcc field on the email.

That is strange, clicking on the email address for me in CC & BCC, put it in the email. I am stumped, have you raised it with Apple?

Hi, I have no idea how to contact Apple about this issue. Is there a phone number or or chat line or something for this?

As your in the US go to https://support.apple.com/mac then select your MAC model, then MAC OS support, there will be options of chat, call back etc...
