Catalina Server App - no way to view connected SMB users?

At this rate the next Server app will be COMPLETELY useless. There’s no way to see all the active file sharing users?

Is there a 3rd party app (cant believe I’m having to ask this)??

Mac OS Server is now an MDM. It would be good if Apple just rebranded it, rather than confuse folks with what it is now vs. with what it used to be. I quit using Server a few years back for traditional file sharing, and am glad I did.

Synology OS is better for file serving than Server ever was. More features, less permissions issues and more. If you are looking to upgrade hardware, I would recommend a Synology NAS.

If you don't want to consider a NAS or other hardware, there are other software platforms, though I am not aware of any free ones. Rumpus and CrushFTP are examples.

Yeah, I made the mistake of thinking what was left would still be functional (OD and File Sharing). It’s not.
