Can someone confirm I've not been seeing things. lol

About a month ago, I was using Catalina on a Mac Pro 3,1 using dosdudes patches. I had a GT120 graphic card and installed the legacy Nvidia driver and all was fine (although a little slow). But one of the things I noticed was that when shutting down the mac, you got the Catalina Island picture, and then the shutdown when would animate over it before shutting down. Pre Catalina/Mojave (seemingly) I had got the spinning shutdown animation against a black screen.

Well, this week I got myself a Gainward GTX680 2GB and flashed it with the mac firmware from dosdudes site, and all went well. I can go into the efi bios, Catalina runs fine - everything.

But the background image at is now gone at shutdown, i just have the shutdown spinning wheel as before.

Did I imagine the whole thing, and if not, is there a way of bring back the background image? It's only a small thing I know, but it was a really nice touch.

I should mention that I've reinstalled Catalina, and didn't apply the legacy graphics patch this time round.

This is what happens when you hack your system to run a non-supported OS..... ?
