Catalina upgrade - HOW?????

This is strange. In System Preferences, Software Update.......it shows Catalina. UPGRADE NOW.

I click that. It downloads 8.09GB, then goes back to the UPGRADE NOW screen.

I have done this 5 times!!!

How do you do an actual UPGRADE?

They are incompatible .plists, security settings etc. brought over by Migration Assistant. You can delete them.

Have the same issue but don't see it on launch pad :/ any other help?

It’s in the /Applications folder.
