Catalina Video issues

19,1 iMac 10.15.5, 32GB RAM, Comcast cable:
1. Why do I get errors using Youtube in Safari playing videos. This only started after moving to Catalina.

2. Why does Reddit seem to only allow me to play a video once, unless I leave the video and return fresh.

Have I done something to turn of replaying videos in Catalina? or is it a Reddit item since moving to Catalina? Have I turned something off in 1BLOCKER app?

I'm having the same problem in Mojave 10.14.6 (AT&T ISP, AdGuard.app). If I turn off AdGuard for the site (YouTube) by unchecking this box, I can play the videos (with an avalanche of ads ).



Oddly I don't have the same problem on my iPhone, also using AdGuard.

Edit: Also, if I view the videos on some of the forums that I frequent, either on the forum or opening them on Y-tube (by clicking on the title), I don't encounter the error.

Weird.

I made a whitelist in 1Blocker for youtube.com. Don’t have any issues w Youtube. Will do this for Reddict and try it.

I had to include Reditt in the 1Blocker white list. Now I play videos multiple times in Reditt.

UPDATE: I have begun using "Safari Technology Preview" to view anything in YouTube. This is a developer app for downloading by anyone. I chose the Catalina version. Hopefully it will allow me all videos, and skip using Safari.
