I've been reading and reading but I'm still a bit confused.
I unlocked my iPhone to use on TMobile USA when I first got it. It went flawlessly, and everything works.
I used this website to do it, although what is on the page has changed since I was there.
After I got it working, I never synced, never added new music, I just charge on the dock, plugged into the wall. Was totally paranoid about getting in over my head if something went wrong.
So I guess right now it is on 1.1.1. I've read about ZiPhone ... would that be a good way for me to go? Obviously I want to keep it on Tmobile.
By doing that, would I gain access to things like the iTunes music store? When I unlocked I remember you had to keep your iTunes at a certain version... is that a thing of the past? If I updated, could I sync?
Also if anyone feels like being really kind, could you please tell me if there are any steps I need to take on the phone, considering what has already been done to it, to get it ready for the ZiPhone thing?
Thanks so much, any help is greatly appreciated.
