Caught something on Apple.com hot news

Im new here great site btw. Well i think on May 20th or 21st when i started safari the apple.com website came up with their "Top stories".I recall seeing a post for the 20th or 21st mentioning how the Apple iPhone already received a award for its design and they stated "Although it’s not scheduled to go on sale until late June, iPhone has already won an award for Product Design" i was like whoaa i was going to take a screenshot, but figure its gonna be there later. Sure enough I open up safari and this time the newest post was May 18th which mean they deleted the one about the iphone.
Possible leak?????

i saw that too. Thought nothing of it. Read the article. There wasnt any writing. It was some design awards, and Jonathan Ive won best Product Design. It only showed a basic picture of the iPhone in the article. The RSS Comment was interesting saying that it wasnt going to be released till late june. But they already told us that. Didnt they ?

ah they always forget our small island.. but youve got to feel sorry for New Zealand. they have a tiny island!!

i suppose the late june might contradict the popular belief that it will be released at WWDC, which is 12th? But i suppse they might take orders then, and ship late june.. but now im just making this up.

just cant wait for it to come to the UK... My contracts up on December 25th too, how cool would an iPhone be...

It was probably the National Design Awards, announced on May 15th. Jonathan Ive won in the "Product Design" category for his complete body of work, not just the iPhone.

that was deifnatly the site the hot news article linked to. On a summary page it showed the iPhone as an example of Jonathan Ives work. It was up for quite a while. At least all day for me. But my daytime is Apples nighttime.
