Hello everybody,

this is probably a really easy question to answer and I'm probably just being stupid...

I'm trying to compile corkscrew for Mac OS X in the termnial and it says that no cc compiler can be found. I've tried searching for cc and gcc for unix but i'm not a big unix user. Surely there's an easier way?

Thanks for the help in advance

It should be among your install CDs. It'll say "Developer Tools" on it, I think (not being sarcastic.)

If you don't have it, you can get it from developer.apple.com somewhere in there. It's a big download though, 200+ megs I think.

If you bought Jaguar, you'll have a CD called Developer Tools.
If you bought Panther, you'll have a CD called Xcode Tools.
If OS X came preinstalled on your Mac, you should have a folder called Installers inside your Applications folder, and the Developer Tools should be in there.

Hope this helps :)
