Hi, I only rarely boot my MacBook (every 2 or so weeks), so I can't remember if this has happened from day 1.
Whenver it is booted, the CD drive sounds as though it is trying to eject a CD. With my best possible way of describing the sound, here is what it sounds like: "duuuuurrr urrrrrr urrp". Lasts litterally like 1 second.
Like I say, I can't remember if this is normal and I can't remember the last time I played a CD in there (I will try that tonight), so would someone be able to put me out of my misery and tell me if yours does this or not?
