Hi there just a quick question. Sorry if this is a noob question but i have never owned a Mac before.

As i have red alert 3 on PC can I use the same CD key to install it onto a Mac?
If so is this the same for any game that’s available for the PC and the Mac?

thanks for any help

If you buy the Mac version, you will get a new and working CD key anyway.

Downloading the Mac version via a peer-2-peer network while owning the Windows version is not quite legal anyway.

The other option is to use Boot Camp to install Windows XP or 7 on a separate partition. You could then use your PC version of Red Alert 3 and its key with no problem, and if the OSX version is a Windows port, it will run better under Windows anyway.

yeah as said above it varies from game to game. some companies, the ones who deliver hybrid discs for example, you use the same key. they are actually pretty rare (go Blizzard!). Usually you'll find you have to rebuy the game (sigh).

If you already have bootcamp running, thats not a bad choice.
