I don,t suppose many of you still use CDs any more. I download and put them on CD,s
I have a problem of playing CD,s on my Mac. When I put it in it takes time to load, and when it does it stops and starts.
Another thing it does not play the Cd from track one to the end of the CD It plays it randomly.
On Windows, with Bootcamp, I put the cd in the player and it plays straight away without any problems I use Power DVD I wish that it was able to be used with Mac. The other thing is Audio playback settings I have an Apple Thunderbolt Display on Windows it has two settings for it one says Thunderbolt Intel Display and another one says, Speaker Display Audio which is louder than the Thunderbolt Intel Display. On the MAC it just says Display Audio

VLC
What player are you using to play the cd files on your Mac?
VLC i deleted it and put it back on it is now playing the tracks as on the CD not randamly. It still takes time to load up unlike on Windows with PowerDVD which works straight away.

That's not bad, though. Try figuring out how to mount an old floppy disk!
None the less why does it load up and play straight a way awithout stopping and starting on Windows with Power DVD?.I am to young to remmber floppy disk

Well, regarding the display audio showing up twice in Windows…that just sounds like some sort of effed up Windows thing.

As far as the speed differences you're asking about it sounds like a coding question that you'd have to ask three different developers.

What macOS version are you on?
