Hello!
I am an audio CD collector, and Windows has quite a few options out for apps that scan the surface of the discs and give a report on the damage. Here is a few examples out for Windows: https://www.raymond.cc/blog/test-cd-or-dvd-readability-by-running-surface-scan-and-file-test/
I am using a mid 2010 MacBook Pro 15 and still getting familiar with the differences. I did have a MacBook with dual OS, but it began having problems switching between them so I'm with a full bred Mac now. Any advice on a scanner program like these would be very appreciated. I would be using for audio CDs only so don't need any fancy extra options for writing to discs.. just testing for playback errors.
Thanks in advance and cheers!
