HI. I have an ibook g4 and I recently got the sims 2 for it. I am having a problem though, the cd wont eject. When I push the eject button nothing happens and when I drag the cd down to the trash (which turns in to the eject sign) it says that the application is still running and it wont let me eject it. The application is not running though. Also since I installed the cd my internet wont work either. I am hooked by a wire to a rouder.

PLease Help
Thanks

I tried logging out and restarting but that didn't work. You mean holding down on the left mouse button the whole time it is restarting?

And if that doesn't work, restart into Open Firmware.

Hold down Option - Apple (Command) - o - f at startup. When the screen turns grey and writing appears, type eject-cd.

The cd should eject at this point.

Then type reboot.

I've always typed "eject cd". "eject-cd" may work too, but if it doesn't, try "eject cd".

In addition, "mac-boot" is quicker than "reboot" :)
