Celeron M Mac Minis?

Does anyone know how much the new Santa Rosa based Celerons are going to cost? Is it possible that the Mini update is so delayed because Apple is waiting for those chips to be released?

I doubt it, Apple have no single core machines now (aside from the AppleTV), and these celerons are.

besides for their "core" model chips intel's naming is kind of confusing.

they still have pentiums, which are the new low end... but celerons are still around too?

The latest Celerons are Merom based.

Given that they are, available, single core and have virtualization disabled, I highly doubt that Apple would consider one for a new Mini, though perhaps for Apple TV 2.0?

Wouldn't it be smart for Apple to put an allendale in the mac minis, the processors are only around $125

More likely to see a Pentium Dual Core that's based off of Merom then a Celeron M.
