Carriers being mentioned, did you look for a carrier settings update in the About section, within Settings?
Call your cellular provider and verify they haven't turned off cellular data. Mine did. My wife could call, but no data. Also, check settings, cellular, cellular data and see if it's toggled off.
Go to settings and then about and let your phone download the latest carrier update file. Be on wifi and that should get thyou network back.
I really feel there is a hardware issue here. I have been through multiple forums and never have I heard about the issue except for this thread. Even if you search there are very few of you here. May be Ios 11 breaks something in a select few devices. Either way, you are eligible for a replacement.Thank you, but had tried that and spoke with the carriers. For the time being, just another paper weight. Admittedly, an all to common experience with Apple products these days.

Did you try erasing all contents and settings and restore from backup?
