What am I missing? The cellular data usage table in settings used to organize alphabetically (not usually ideal).

I have read that it should be sorting by amount of data usage now (better).

However, my phone is doing neither, and the list appears to be completely random!

I'm running 12.1.1 on an iPhone X, if that matters. I've attached a screenshot from settings. Anyone else experience this?

TIA

If I'd venture a guess, guessing that maybe a T-Mobile and carrier settings messing things up, as appears that ATT and Verizon does not have this type of screen under Cellular, just plain old list of app and total used, sorted by usage.

Eg. my phone on ATT gives a screen like this.

You may be right. Mine looks the same, but adds a couple of fields, "cellular plans", "usage" and "network selection".

Are the apps sorted alphabetically in your settings, or by data use? I don't know if that example screenshot is old, but they are sorted by alpha.

Man, it's aggravating to have it not sorted in any coherent way. Try sorting through a list of 250 apps to see where your data is going...
