Hey guys,

So I just saw this pop up on Rock, and was wondering if anyone else has tried it out and if it's worth it. It is free. I think i may take it for a spin. Not sure how it will effect battery life though. Well if anyone tries it out and has any comments, please leave them here. I'm curious too see how people like it.

Let me know how it works cause its also tempting to check out.

Nice thing about it is that it has the option to send the data to your own servers. :)

family tracker is a good alternative for non jailbroken phones...its only 5 bucks...but its not that accurate as to where ur iphone is lol.

The map is not accurate at all. I sent a test text to phone...that worked. Not sure if it would if the sim was switched.

works pretty good....not 100% accurate but it also encludes a feature where you can send a message to it, and you can also start a song so if you lose it somewhere in your house, you can find it. =) song takes a while to start though.

If anyone is interested in comparing another option. I've been using iLocalis for several months now and really like it. Depending the settings you choose, you can really drain the battery though. Great if you have two or more family members with iPhones! You can try for free I think, then it's $7 or $15 depending on how much you would like to do with it.

The $15 option gives you so many options, you are a borderline stalker.

I bit the bullet and tried it out. I liked it. It had good features. I could see them come in handy, but already have Longitude installed and have that update my Google Latitude, which is KINDA the same thing. I know it's not real time and what not and can't put a song on to find my phone but, still i think it works for me. I uninstalled it. One less thing to have running in the background draining battery. But don't get me wrong, it is a cool app, and for the price, you can't beat it.
