Has anybody else noticed some apps are missing from the store? The two I've noticed are TUAW and VLC for iOS... I even searched on Safari for VLC and Safari listed a link to the app in the suggestions, so I clicked but it just led to a blank page!

I've also noticed an app that listed iPhone 6 compatibility in the "What's New" section, but the last updated said March(!) 2014 and obviously that's not right!

Tell me this isn't just a fluke with my phone, or at least that I haven't lost my mind from the awesomeness of this phone lol...

Edit: I've been on a vacation from iOS since the iP5, so TUAW may have just discontinued their app, (especially given they never updated it promptly...) but VLC for iOS is still shown on their website as available (including an active forum for the app) and Google lists the App Store link as a result, so I know it should be there!

When I click on the VLC app link (on Google) it says it's not currently available in the U.S. store... What gives...?

Again!? I assume they didn't update for a critical API change in iOS 8 or something :p

Is TUAWs app still up? I stopped using their app long before I switched from iOS, but was curious whether they've been more timely with updates (Maybe I'd consider using the app again, instead of the mobile site) so I looked for it, but can't find it on the App Store either...
