My sister has a 2nd gen Touch and recently upgraded to the latest iTunes. When she synced her Touch, a significant # of songs that were checked off in iTunes were removed from her Touch (iTunes is set to sync only checked items). Why would those songs be removed from her Touch? In order to get them back, she had to check off those Artists in iTunes (I don't have access to iTunes right now soI'm not sure where exactly that option is, but it's the same place where you can check off genres). If the song is checked in iTunes, why would she have to check off the Artist as well? This option didn't even exist in iTunes 8.
