Have a question reg Certified Refurbished Catalog on Apple.com. I have an Iphone XS max since 2018 but wanted to have a backup Iphone (preferably iPhone 8 plus as i like the design of it. So was looking at 8 plus certified refurbished catalog since 2 months. I could only see iphone x/xs there in that list but off late (i.e in last 2 days) i am seeing few iphone 8/8plus on apple.com.
I was looking for Iphone 8 plus silver but i only see space grey in there. Do you think iphone 8 plus silver will be there in future or should i pull the trigger off with space grey as there is no certainty how long these space grey phones are going to be there.
Is there any trend in certified refurbished catalog ? How long we could see iphone plus in the certified refub catalog before they completely stops selling this model of iphone?

It really just varies. I think the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus should be available for a while still, but inventory fluctuates daily.

Are you getting a refurbished iPhone 8 cheaper than the 2nd gen iPad SE?! If not then I’d rather get a new SE than a refurbished 8.

I am looking for 8 Plus not the 8 and i am really not sure if SE plus is coming any time soon. The Iphone 8 plus (64gb) is 379$ on apple.com in refurb category.

8 and 8 Plus are grayed out for me on the Apple Refurb Page. Peeved they nixed the 8+ without SE+ releasing.

What they have is what they have. They might have the 8+ you want tomorrow, or they might never have the 8+ in stock again.

It’s just a gamble you take.
