First of all, there are suddenly tablets everywhere. But look at this keyboard.

Looks kind of familiar! Totally misses the mark though.

Anyway, post some more Apple wannabe products.

Whats wrong with it?

Lets get real here, shall we:
It doesn't have an Apple logo, correct? If it did, you'd probably be saying "its magical", and "a beautiful piece of engineering".

Personally, I prefer black over white / silver.

I think it looks better than the Apple keyboard. The black looks much better than those white keys. I wish they would offer an external keyboard in the style of the MBP, aluminium with black keys.

Exactly, I think the same too. If you think about it, there's a reason why books aren't printed on totally white paper, and why a lot of print is off white - It's easier to read. When everything's white, things start to blend in, and it gets harder to separate the keys. At least for some of us. That is why keys for a long time were beige with black/grey with white, then became black with white.

I've believed in the iPad from the moment I saw it, I love mine, But I'm Extremely Impressed with this, Apple is gonna have to put something big up.

Looks nice.... but vertical touchscreens are just a no go. As for the keyboard... meh... Apple were by no means the first.

The back of beyond.
It is amazing looking at some of the products from CES how some fairly big and successful companies seem to have given an iPad to their manufacturing partner and said 'Make us one of those please'.

Surely there is someone in a senior executive position at a major hardware manufacturer who can see why Apple make good products and copy the approach not the product.

Apple wasn't the first to introduce the chiclet style keyboard.

Ha ha. Not to feed the troll, but here, I wasn't even thinking of the chicklet keys

went to CNET to see all the "imitators"...

Ha, ha, Android 3.0 Honeycomb for Tablets...

Yeah, I was really let down by that. Google is one of my favorite companies and I follow them about as closely as I follow Apple. I've had two Android phones, and while I'm fine with them sharing the market with the iPhone, I've lost hope that it will be a platform I can continue to evangelize.

Most businesses are more like a fraternities than reasonable, logical bodies.
