CES: Time for the imitators to show their work

I think it looks better than the Apple keyboard. The black looks much better than those white keys. I wish they would offer an external keyboard in the style of the MBP, aluminium with black keys.
First of all, there are suddenly tablets everywhere. But look at this keyboard.
Looks kind of familiar! Totally misses the mark though.
Anyway, post some more Apple wannabe products.

It doesn't have an Apple logo, correct? If it did, you'd probably be saying "its magical", and "a beautiful piece of engineering".
Personally, I prefer black over white / silver.
Exactly, I think the same too. If you think about it, there's a reason why books aren't printed on totally white paper, and why a lot of print is off white - It's easier to read. When everything's white, things start to blend in, and it gets harder to separate the keys. At least for some of us. That is why keys for a long time were beige with black/grey with white, then became black with white.
Hmmm, I've seen that pad computer and keyboard somewhere before - but I just, just can't place it...

While I don't think the white one looks too bad, I would really prefer a keyboard like you describe.
They copied the design of the TC1100 and used a chicklet keyboard (which have been around for decades).

It is amazing looking at some of the products from CES how some fairly big and successful companies seem to have given an iPad to their manufacturing partner and said 'Make us one of those please'.
Surely there is someone in a senior executive position at a major hardware manufacturer who can see why Apple make good products and copy the approach not the product.

Yeah, I was really let down by that. Google is one of my favorite companies and I follow them about as closely as I follow Apple. I've had two Android phones, and while I'm fine with them sharing the market with the iPhone, I've lost hope that it will be a platform I can continue to evangelize.
Most businesses are more like a fraternities than reasonable, logical bodies.
