iPod Chances for new iPods due to the dock connector?

There might be a chance they will redesign the iPods in order to give them the new dock connector, however, there is the second option that they discontinue them and put the new dock connector in the iPod Touch 6 and the new Nano.

I agree. I think we'll see:

• new shuffle (just the new dock connector)
• new nanos (new dock connector, new features)
• new touch: 16GB, 64GB, 128GB (new dock connector)
• new iPhone: 16GB, 32GB, 64GB
• No more classic (the 128GB touch will be the replacement)

I also think the new dock connector will be in the context of "USB 3 capability... so you can sync even faster... works with all your old USB computers."

One rumor that popped up a while back was charging and transfer through some kind of modified clip. Probably far fetched now that I'm thinking about it, but interesting nonetheless.

I'm thinking we'll see the mini doc connector and am also hoping for some sort of wireless communication (Bluetooth or Wifi) so I don't have to plug in for anything except charging. I like the idea of being able to communicate with an iPhone. Do you think we'll see something like that this Wednesday?
