My 2g iPhone currently has a cracked screen, and am in desperate need of a new phone. I just want to know what the chances are of a new iPhone being announced tomorrow? I know it's an OS event, but 2.0 did launch with the 3g right? Either way, i'll still probably hang with this phone until a new model is announced. Just wanted to know what you guys are thinking/hoping for:D

The key word there in your post is announced. There is a possibility it might be announced, but will it be introduced? Certainly not. If it is announced, expect a release sometime in June/July. :)

Wait about

16 hours and you will know everything about the event and all the current info guessing next model will still be announced WWDC end of June. this is a teaser IMO!

2.0 did launch with the iPhone 3G, but it was announced in March 2008. This will work the same way. Announcement in April, release in June or July with the new phone.

No way, too unexpected. This is a SNEAK PEAK at iPhone OS 4.0, you get a little information. If they wanted you to have a lot of information they probably would release it today. But its just a sneak peak. And I seriously doubt Apple would go off track, and release an iPhone while it's out of its refresh cycle.

Just slightly less than the chance of winning the Powerball Lottery (i.e. 0.0%)
In fact you won't even get a new OS tomorrow.

if they announce support for new resolutions they have to introduce a new model or it would look weird.
