About a week ago before doing a presentation at school, my MBA's screen went into sleep mode the way it was supposed to. After I moved my finger around the trackpad to get it to wake, it wouldn't work. The screen woke up a few minutes later and then the backlight turned off. I then rebooted it and then saw a black 'X' over the battery icon in the menu bar. I closed the lid, and the darned thing refused to go into sleep mode. The backlighted Apple logo still glowed brightly. I took it to the ASP that day and the woman there said they'd look into it.
It's the same dented/scratched MBA that I posted about earlier. What are the chances that they'll replace it with a new/refurb one?
