Change Apple Notes background in 10.11?

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to change the background in the Apple desktop Notes app. I'd like it to be on the darker side.

Dunno why they haven't allowed this yet. There's still remnants of Scott Forstall in the Notes app.
