iPhone Change bitesms icon in beta

Does anyone know how to apply icons to bitesms beta. Some themes work, some dont. I remember reading its a issue with the size or shape of the icon? What exactly do i need to do to apply non compatible icons to this app?

I also read something about editing a plist file to use the stock messaging app icon. Is it possible to do that and then theme the messages icon manually with a winterboard icon?

The Bitesms icon ignores theming and masks. You can change it manually or you can go into settings>more>application icon>apple messages.

If you want to edit the bitesms icon without using stuff like winterboard, one way is to replace the mobilesms app icon with your desired icon (via iFile), go into bitesms settings and use the apple messages icon

Just as enzom21 said...

replacing it is fairly easy.

iFunBox:
device (raw file system) > Applications > biteSMS > icon@2x.png

iExplorer:
Root > Applications > biteSMS > icon@2x.png

I just rename the original to icon@2x.png_bak
Then copy over the icon I want to use. Clear the picture cache with RMCache.
Done.
