Hey guys, new here, seems like a cool place...

anyway, I'm working on customizing my Mac a bit and I wanted to change the name of the Finder when you roll over it with your mouse on the dock. I already changed the name "trash" to something better.

Anyway, I can't find where in System I can change the dock name "finder" to something else. I changed the name Finder in the menubar along the top of the screen, but not on the dock.

I looked heavily through Core Services>Finder, but alas, no luck.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Believe me when I say this, Apple will never give you options to do such a thing. But... there are 3rd party apps out there that can do this type of thing, as well as other forms of customization. Just do a google search.

Hi,

How did you "changed the name Finder in the menubar along the top of the screen"?
