Hello,

Finishing up programming a little instructional video seminar to put on a CD, and I need some suggestions on how to make the CD the way I want. I have one main read me, along with folders for each video. Inside each of these folders is a read me pertaining to that specific video.

If I just toss these on the CD, they won't be in the order I want. I would also like to have a background image. There's no installers here, just QT videos ran off the CD.

I know a lot of disk images have backgrounds. The Mac Addict CD's are always organized. If you just toss things on the CD, and arrange it before burning it, does it stay this way?

Thanks!
Ryan

just one question for clarification, you are refering to dmgs files right?

whatever background you set in a dmg file it stay should set.

This is a great utility for creating a burn disc images for software application, but you could you it for how you intend as well. I like it because it setup to let add license agreements, backgrounds, folder colors easily and quickly.

How about making a simple webpage that is on the disk that links to the movies on the disk in the order you want?

heh, i used to do that too for one of my previous jobs. you can have a webpage on the cd, but only for windows machines can autorun the file when the cd-rom spins up. basic some concept of having a flash file open when you put in a cd. this feature was removed from os x. i am sure there is a work around, but i don't know it off the top of my head.
