I have read around that it is best for the Lithium Polymer batteries in the MacBook if you don't let it get below 20% and always charge it by then.

1- Is that true?
2- If so, is there a way to make the low battery alerts appear at 20%?

What do you me by "best for the Lithium Polymer batteries in the MacBook"? Are you trying to replace the main battery inside the MacBook?

I mean the one that comes by default in any MacBook, didn't mean to confuse you.
What I'm trying to do is make the alerts appear on a specific %, which is 20%.

Okay, I now see what you are asking. There is no way that I am aware of to change that.
