Other Change owner of upgrade programme

Hi. So my husband and I both have IPhone 11s. He has pro and I have max. When we signed up for the upgrade programme (first time) something went wrong with my application so we got both phones were under my husbands name in the programme. I found out that the reason mine was declined is because they didn’t like my gmail email address! They said if you try again it will work.

So this year when the new iPhone phone comes out I would like one of the plans to be under my name. Is there any way I can do this? Can we just hand one of the phones back in after 12 months and then I start fresh or doesn’t it work like that?

If you join the upgrade program you will of course get the newest phone but your husband will be left with 2 iPhones.

He can of course upgrade one or both devices. If he only upgrades one so he has the newest device he will be left with the other(your Pro Max)to pay off for another 12 months. You cant just hand the iPhone back after 12 months, its a 24 month agreement with the option to upgrade after 12.

Thanks. Thought that would be the case. Looks like I will have leave things as they are then. It was the stupid finance companies glitch that caused it in the first place.
