So, in my rush to setup Snow Leopard Server a couple days ago, I just randomly selected one of the domains I own and entered it when queried by the setup assistant. Now that I've had a little more time to consider what I wish to do with this server, I have decided I would like to use a different domain. I cannot seem to figure out how one should go about changing this 'setting' on OS X Server. Any help will be appreciated.

I entered wrongdomain.com in the setup assistant, I would like to change this to rightdomain.net. How is this accomplished?

If I remember correctly you have to do it from Terminal, using the changeip command.

Open terminal, and type this.

sudo changeip -checkhostname

This will tell give you the current IP address, hostname and DNS name.

if you want to change it, do this

sudo changeip <oldIP> <newIP> <oldHOST> <newHOST>

Be very careful using this command, if done wrong, it will mess up everything.

Thank you for your help. That seems to have worked (though I wound up just reinstalling).
