I was wondering if anyone out there knows if there is a Cydia app that I can download to change the storage capacity display on my iPhone. What I mean is, when I go to Setting -> General -> About, it says Capacity - 13.3GB because it is a 16GB iPhone. I want to trick my friend into thinking I have a 128GB iPhone 4S. So do you know if you can change that setting? I want it to say 115 or whatever is available on 128GB devices. Thanks!

It's not wise to change information like that unless it is absolutely necessary and you need to know exactly what you are doing, else you might screw up your 4S and lose the JB

So is there a way to do it? Granted I am willing to sacrifice those mentioned?

Let me see, you are willing to sacrifice your JB to play prank???

It makes sense if u swap the words "potential buyer" with "friend".

If this hack was possible, my guess is that he would set it at 56gb (cause he knows there is no such thing as a 128), and then "trick" a buyer (not a friend), into thinking it was the more valuable 64g iphone).

I could be wrong, but at least that makes sense.

I had the exact same reaction when I read his post. Was gonna post as such but then I felt bad for passing judgement. But based on all my experience here and how sneaky drive by posters are with these types of topics, I quickly lost the feeling of guilt. I think he's trying to pull a fast one on some unsuspecting buyer...

Nice try! ;)
