I have a watch series 2 and iPhone 7. The problem is to get tapatalk notifications you have a choice of sound or no sound. You can't choose vibrate only. So I thought I would create a silent alert tone and just choose that. Unfortunately tapatalk just uses the built in alert tones and you can't see the custom ones.

I don't want my phone and watch blaring away when I get a notification but I would like it to vibrate so I know it has come. Looks like I'm stuck unless I've missed something.

I know that setting the sound off notifications on the built-in Apple apps switches it to vibrate, but I'm not sure if it does the same with third-party apps. But I'd try going into Settings > Notifications > Tapatalk, and then turn the Sounds switch off.

Thanks but I tried this and it doesn't vibrate or play a sound. I guess it's just one of those Apple things.
