Change to three contracts when taking out new deals..

Sadly tethering is limited to 2GB when taking out a new contract even on all you can eat data.

Although if you are on sim only plans you are not affected which luckily that is what I'm on. being able to tether is a big plus to being on three and it makes me think instead of setting up a new contract to just stay on sim only and just buy each phone...I know in a few years with a house this would be tough but maybe along term won't cost me as much...dunno it's a tough one.

Yeah i'm annoyed by this as it means I can never upgrade my handset, well only if they actually keep to their word and allow tethering for the existing customers.

I have been testing it out by leaving it running on tethered connection this weekend and so far so good.

Yeah I've had no issues too and I've used it Alot.

Least though you won't go over the tethering as it won't over charge you it will just stop working

Well I won't be upgrading I will just buy outright.

I was using my HTC one for tethering it has a usage option that shows breakdown for what uses data such as hot spot.
