iPhone Changed Apple ID e-mail - credit card is removed from Apple Pay

I just changed my Apple ID e-mail address and I noticed that my credit card isn't in Apple Pay/Wallet anymore. Is that normal behavior? Running iOS 13.3.1 on iPhone 11.

Pretty sure the answer is yes, normal behavior, as Apple Pay is tied to iCloud/Apple ID device signed into.

when you say you "changed your apple id email address", do you mean you started to use, or created a new email address associated with your apple ID? meaning, basically an email account?
if that is what you did, then i don't think iOS deleting a card from wallet is normal if that is what was done. this is just adding a new email alias.

if, however, you changed your apple ID to a different email address than before, as your primary apple ID, then yes, all cards in wallet are removed.

the reason for this is that you changed your apple id.
