so my friend dropped my phone at the beach last week and the screen is destroyed. I want to get a new one, but I'm not eligible for an upgrade yet. My mom, who is on the same family plan, is however eligible. Would it be possible to upgrade her line and get the iphone, then just switch my sim card in and allow her to keep using her old phone? Would she also have the extra $30/month data plan on her her account too and if so would it be possible to drop it?
