Changed my brain for a Macbook

By "changed my brain" I mean that I beat nicotine withdrawl and subsequently saved the $50.00 a week I was spending on cigarettes and put it in a box instead, all for the sole purpose of getting a macbook (and being healthier of course).

done and did, smoke free and a new macbook owner, i'm typing this on it and i love it.

I had the specs for the quit in my sig before so maybe you caught it, I also sold some gear on craigslist to pay for the extra ram and tax...

That is seriously a job well done! Congrats! Now everytime you desire a cigarette, you can just look at your Macbook and it'll be your inspiration!
 
$50 a day? Sounds like your lungs might match your new MacBook.
I know how much ciggies are in BC but how is that even possible?

this thing is so nice, silent, not hot, loving the glossy, installing bootcamp was soo easy, I've been playing Elder Scrolls and NBA live all day, I got an iSkin for the keyboard which i really like, i picked up a Booq Vyper (luv it) and i'm so glad i went for the black...

when you were playing nba live, did you use windows? How does it run? 07? any other sporting games that run well with macbook? Thanks!

Good for you! well done for giving up smoking and congrats on the Macbook - I just ordered myself one and can't wait for it to arrive. :D
 
As someone who's about to jump on the non-smoking wagon - congrats. I can't promise myself an MB (I have one), but saving up towards an MP.... that's something else. I just hope I can do as well as you have.

Not smoking isnt as bad as you thought it would be hey :p The world still spins the same direction :D
