Hi everyone,

My friend recently bought the new 2020 MacBook Air after never having a MacBook before and I was helping her set stuff up and show her some things she wouldn't otherwise know.

I have a question about the force touch on the trackpad, for me and my 2016 MacBook Pro, when I force click on a link it previews the link and allows me to scroll through it a bit and if I click again it'll open into a new window (my favorite way to view these forums). However, on hers it only pops up with the words definition not a preview of the link. I tried multiple websites and links and it always just shows the definition pop up, never the link preview.

I'm wondering if its just a setting that might've been switched on or something that changed with the new trackpads? Just wanted to ask and see if anyone knows anythings.

Thanks,

Colby

Edit:

Nevermind everyone, I just discovered it was because this is a Safari feature and not universal in MacOS.

She wanted to use google chrome, hence why it doesn't work.

Don't know how to delete a thread, but mods if you want to delete please do!

Thanks anyone that read my stupidity haha
