Ok,

I have searched all day and I cannot find the answers I am looking for so maybe someone can help me?

I installed the iElegance Pro theme from Cydia last night. Starting this morning I have been trying to change the 20 or so app icons that iElegance did not automaticaly change. There are not icons for everything but that is ok, I have found some that will work.

The problem I am having is that not all of the apps I have installed are located in the main apps (/applications) folder. In order to get the icons to work I need to put them in the appropriate app's folder and change the name from "whatever".png to "icon.png. I cant find a lot of the apps in order to do this. For example Amazon Mobile (which should be the first on on the list) is no where to be found.

Am I just not looking in the right place?

Nope, the icons go into the icons folder in the theme and have to have the EXACT same name as the icon.png you want them to replace.

Like he said, you should be able to put them in the icons folder in the theme folder, which would be something like /var/stash/Themes.???/iElegance.theme/icons

Only jailbreak apps and some default apps like Maps are stored in /Applications. App store apps are in /var/mobile/Applications but the folder names are gibberish. You can get Applinks from Cydia to create shortcuts to those folders. The shortcuts will be named after the apps.

I originaly tried to put everything into the themes folder and it worked for most of the apps. However not all of the icons changed. Amazon, BofA, Quickoffice, and quite a few others did not change.

I did find a few of the apps in the "gibberish":) folders but when I repalce the icon.png with a new one it is not coming out right. The icons are much smaller and havve a black background all the way around them.

Double check the names you gave the icons. Names are case-sensitive, and any spaces, dashes, etc have to be reproduced exactly as they appear on the iPhone home page.
