Changing Associated Email Address for Downloaded Apps

Hi

When I restored my iPhone some downloaded Apps required me to enter an old email address that I must have used to initially download them.

The old email address is different to my Apple ID email address.

How to I change the associated email address for these Apps so they use my Apple ID email address?

Alternatively do I need to delete them and re-download them from the App Store?

You can't. Those old apps are tied to the old AppleID and there is no way to merge them with the new AppleID.

If possible I will delete and re-download those Apps.

I have had some of those Apps for a very long time so they might no longer be available on the Apple App Store.
