Hello,

Still have this problem.
Apologize for annoying folks with this again, but am hoping for new thoughts on this.
Running Sonoma. Didn't have with Ventura.

On Apple Mail, and also Safari, The background opens up as dark, with the text in white.
Other applications show this, others do not.
Apple Mail is "funny," as the actual msg. panes do open up as I want.

I have gone thru all the global Settings I could find, like the invert colors option, which I have Off.

What's hard to understand, is that some items open as I would want them to (black text and white background)
and others do not.

Seems like it might be an option for the individual items, but not
a Global setting. But I can't find any individual setting that effect this.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

Dark mode. It depends on the application’s support for Dark Mode. Post screen capture examples of what you “want” and “dont want”.

Hi,

Thanks for help.
Much appreciated.
Nice of you to take the time.

Assuming I can figure out how to attach pix's here's a screenshot below.
I would like to have reversed.
Seems like some Apps do it, and some are "correct," the way I want of dark letters on a light background.

Will blame all my problems on old age now.
A really great excuse for most anything.

Regards,
Bob
