Changing default action for Apple Remote Menu button

Hi,

When in the Finder, pressing the Apple Remote "Menu" button starts Front Row. I'd like for it to start Plex instead.
Is there a way to do this without 3rd Party software (preferred)?
If not, what is the best 3rd Party software to use?

AFAIK, there is no preference setting for this, as Apple wants their remote to work only with their software. Not sure about what software to achieve this though.

I just have a setting in plex preferences so the menu button opens plex directly
