Changing Font on NOTES

There is a way to change it to Helvetica by temporarily changing keyboard to international. Didn't try but read about it on Mashable.
Doesn't make sense!
Are you telling me that there is NO way to change the font on NOTES?
That doesn't make any sense at all to me! There has got to be a way to select fonts when writing NOTES.

Basically enable the Chinese or Japanese keyboard, enter some text with that keyboard, then switch back to the English keyboard. The font will change to Helvetica in that one note.

US English for an easily accessed $ rather than the £ and now Japanese to get rid of that Marker Felt font which I dislike about as much as Comic Sans.... 
If your note is composed on your Mac and synced to your iPad it retains the original font, including its size and colour. Any further edits made to the note will be made in the same font.
